I am utterly delighted to welcome you to my blog site.

I was listening to the radio the other day debating the relative merits of the Victorian Andrews Government introducing 5 days sick pay for the casually paid.  A gentleman rang in being in favour of this as he had been made redundant being over 60 and all that was available to him since that time was casual work and poorly paid casual work for that matter, no employer would look at him, due to the unspoken ageism in our western world to those of 60.

I whispered comrade and then in the next breathe I whispered - try being a woman over 60!

Then my very next thought was 'HOW LUCKY AM I?' I am out living my best life as a redundant 62 year old and I invite you to accompany me
